The Committee on Education moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill 2378—A Bill to amend and reenact §18A-3-6 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating generally to grounds for revocation of a teaching certificate; removing provisions setting forth certain instances in which the certificate of a teacher may not be revoked; referring to existing definition of teacher as the term pertains to automatic revocation of a teaching certificate or license; adding to reasons for automatic revocation of a teaching certificate or license; and requiring in certain instances that a teacher’s certification be reinstated if conviction is overturned.
